What is it?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is plasma rich in growth factors, obtained from your own blood. CGF is a denser fibrin structure separated from the blood using a different method. Because both are prepared from your own blood, the risk of allergy is low.

How is it done?

  1. A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm.
  2. The blood is spun in a special centrifuge to separate the plasma.
  3. The plasma is applied to the treatment area with fine needles.

Treatment areas

  • Skin rejuvenation, loss of hydration and radiance
  • Fine lines and discolouration under the eyes
  • Post-acne marks
  • Hair loss and thinning hair

After the treatment

  • Redness and mild swelling settle within a few hours to a day.
  • For the first 24 hours, avoid make-up, sauna and hammam; after a scalp treatment, do not wash your hair on the first day.

Who may not be suitable?

  • Blood disorders or low platelet count
  • Active infection or illness with fever
  • Ongoing cancer treatment
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Blood thinner use (must be mentioned at the consultation)

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between PRP and CGF?
